Our History
Established in 2019 in Springville, UT. W&M Barber Co. has been providing quality haircuts and grooming services for over 6 years. Bill and Wes started the business with a vision to create a comfortable and relaxing environment for everyone to get their hair cut. They bought this shop from Jim Brooks who had been cutting in this space for over 30 years. Today, we continue to uphold that tradition and strive to exceed our clients' expectations. We serve families from Springville, Provo, Mapleton, Spanish Fork, Orem, and Salem looking for a trusted barbershop in Utah County.
Bill
Bill’s journey into barbering began in 2015, when he enrolled at Paul Mitchell The School in Salt Lake City. It was there that he built his foundation in classic technique, precision cutting, and professional grooming.
After graduating, Bill continued to refine his craft through hands-on experience. He trained with The Art of Shaving, where he developed a strong appreciation for traditional barbering services like straight razor work, hot towel treatments, and detailed finishing. He also spent time working under an experienced, old-school barber named Darrel in Orem, where he sharpened his skills in classic men’s cuts, consistency, and the discipline that defines a true barbershop professional.
Through years of growth and experience, Bill developed a style rooted in both modern technique and traditional barbering values. That path eventually led to a partnership with Wes, where the two shared a vision for something better — a shop built on consistency, professionalism, and a genuine client experience.
Together, they founded W&M Barber Co., creating a space that reflects their standards: clean cuts, a solid work ethic, and a barbershop environment clients can rely on.
Wes
Wes began his journey into barbering in 2015, when he enrolled in barber school and met Bill — a friendship that didn’t start off smooth, but quickly turned into a strong partnership built on mutual respect and shared standards.
After graduating, Wes stepped into a management role at The Art of Shaving, where he developed a deep understanding of grooming products, customer experience, and the details that elevate a service beyond just a haircut. That time laid the foundation for his passion for product development, eventually leading to The Garrison Men’s Grooming.
In 2018, Wes moved to Las Vegas with his family, where he continued his education and trained under an old-school barber known as Mr. B. During this time, he returned to The Art of Shaving, further refining his skills in traditional straight razor shaves and classic barbering techniques.
After moving back to Utah, Wes reconnected with Bill. With years of experience behind them and a shared vision for what a barbershop should be, they came together to build something of their own.
That vision became W&M Barber Co. — a shop grounded in consistency, professionalism, and a genuine client experience.
